Huge arrow(s)!

Hi guys

 

I inserted a stair and now I can't see it because the arrow that comes with it is way too huge! How do i scale it down?

@RichPiano Go to the Stair Settings > Graphic Attributes>2D Walk Line and Markers and adjust to your preferences. I have them set by class. Once I edited all those settings, I saved them to a setting that I can use on all stairs.

Thanks leecalisti! I have now chosen class attributes for the stair. Now I can change the color and line thickness, however i can't see where I would change the size?

@RichPiano Try choosing an arrow type in the class you use for the marker style. I created classes for "Stair Notes." I also set my preferred font and size there too.

Thank you, now i found it! I didn't think it would be this much work honestly haha. I also changed the scale of the design layers, that helped with other arrows that were way too big 🙂

@RichPiano That's good to hear. It's well known that the Stair Tool is a horrible tool that VW needs to address before anything else. For now, we have to work with what we have. Now that I set up a series of saved features, it's a bit easier, but I do spend far too much time fiddling around with stairs. What's funny, is the legacy tool, the Custom Stair Tool, was a far better, more intuitive tool and someone decided to fix what wasn't broken. I hope your experience is better.
