Gary C
Can anyone tell me where I can find a list of standard electric symbols used in the industry. I'm looking for non standard things like bathroom vent fans etc.. not switchs and outets? Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Gary - make your own and keep them in a library file. That way you can have them exactly as you want them and know where to access them from. Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Sure there are the generic standards but it's fun to create kool new ones and then declare them on the plan's sheet. There's so much great new stuff out there to base your own symbol libraries on . Quote Link to comment
Spunkmeyer
The National Cad Standard, or a reference book like the venerable Architectural Graphic Standards, are likely to be the best places to find something you could consider an authoratative source. At least that's what government agencies, some corporations, etc., see as "the standard." But many design professionals have a fierce libertarian streak on this subject. Quote Link to comment
