asilver01
Hi, Is it possible to link the width and height of a shape (i.e. rectangle) to a record format that I can then control through the OIP as a symbol object. Essentially the idea is being able to resize the door in elevation (2d) for the different rooms internal elevations. I can then control the frame widths by adding horizontal constraints. asilver01
@Pat Stanford What I would like to do is being able to control/reshape (overall height and width) the door symbol to suit each door opening without having to manually re-shape it. I am working on a series of 2d internal elevations (No BIM) and I would like to create a door symbol (2d elevation) that I could reshape to match the different door openings in elevation. My thinking was that once I control the overall width and height through the OIP I could use the constraint tool to keep the frame sizes and door handles at the same distance while changing only the overall sizes. Hope I explained better now. Quote Link to comment
