GeorgeWL
Hi - I'm hoping somebody can help me. I'm new to Vectorworks and trying to get to grips with Marionette objects, I've put this together to create a simple netball court given dimensions width, length and line width. I can't work out why / how to 'delete' the extra rectangle shown in the picture. Any help would be much approached! All the best, George. Marionette.vwx Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
The Red rectangle is being generated by the Extrude node. Without the extrude you get two groups. One for the lines and one for the center circle. What are you actually trying to accomplish? Quote Link to comment
GeorgeWL
Hi Pat, Thanks for looking at this - I fell like its pretty close - I just want to 'delete' the big red rectangle. I used it to cut the circle in half but it 'reappears' when I extrude everything. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
@sbarrett This is beyond my marionette skills tonight. Can you help? 1 Quote Link to comment
M.Graf TH-OWL
you can try this... i think there are more than one Objects in the output List of your "add surface" - Boolean Node. put the "Print Debug" node behind, to test the list, or try every item to get the red rectangle. without the Print debug node, unfortunately you have to try every Item No. from 0 to 1, to 2 ... if your nice Marionette Network works - can i get it? 🙂 Edited April 17, 2020 by M.Graf TH-OWL 1 Quote Link to comment
GeorgeWL
Thank you for the help - the list explode seemed to help after a bit of debugging. It still gets a bit buggy if you enclose it into an object but its good enough for my purposes. Netball Marionette.vwx Quote Link to comment
M.Graf TH-OWL
hi GeorgeWL you can try this <planar Boolean Node> in the file (tilecounter_Fix.vwx) but you need the <remove Duplicate node> behind greatings M.Graf Quote Link to comment
