Can't find my drawing back in Vectorworks

Good afternoon,

 

I was drawing in Vectorworks but suddenly my drawing got lost in there. 
I tried already to zoom in to objects and to go back but nothing happened. 
I just have an empty field now. 

 

Somebody knows how to solve this?

Missing objects are often a case of Layer or Class Visibility. Try the following and see what it takes to bring back your objects.

 

1. Set your Layer Options to Show/Snap/Modify Others.

2. Set your Class Options to Show/Snap/Modify Others.

3. Set your Layer Visibilities so that all Layers are Visible.

4. Set your Class Visibilities so that all Classes are Visible.

5. Select All. How many objects are listed in the Object Info Palette? If it is No Objects Selected then somehow everything got deleted and you probably need to go to a backup.

6. View menu:Zoom:Fit to Objects. Does this bring them back? Zoom out to see where the page boundary is (you may need to turn this on in Page Setup if you normally don't use it). Drag everything (you may want to Group to keep them all together) back to the page area.

7. If step 6 shows a dense "spec" that looks like it could be your objects, then something probably got moved a long way away.  Draw a marquee around the corner of the drawing. If the OIP says there are objects selected then Fit to Objects and see if they are important. If not delete them. If they are important, move them closer to the center of the drawing. Repeat for each corner as necessary.

8.  If steps 1 through 7 don't work, open your recent backup copies and see if you can go back to a point where your drawing was as expected.
