L3 Lighting Posted April 12, 2020 Share Posted April 12, 2020 I am wondering what is the best was to export a patch from Vectorworks to MA 3. Currently It is trying to export GTDF and We do not have the units I am trying to import on the file. I have the fixture mode selected for what mode and that is not the mode that is trying export Fixture Types: Martin Viper Performance Martin Viper Profile Martin Quantum Wash GLP Spot One etc..... The MVR uses the GDTF mode specified in the lighting device, if no mode is specified a generic GDTF fixture will be created and the basic patch info will be included in the MVR so you can import the file into the MA3 and replace the fixture with the correct one in the console. Be sure to check the GDTF Share for the fixture and it's also possible to build the fixture using the online GDTF fixture builder. Quote Link to comment
