VW12 Setup SIMPLIFIED

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to use VW features to streamline as much as possible. Over the past several days I've been posting but I guess I need it simplified a little more. I'm now using VW12 Designer. When I was using VW11.5 we had a template that had all the classes, layers, Viewports and saved views we use. How do I integrate these so we can use the setup portion of the program (ie: File-Document Settings-Documents Setup, Model Setup, Create Standard VP). When I setup I would like to have our title block (which I have installed in the Drawing Border-Title block folder in the libraries folder) install in the proper class and have the setup create classes, layers, VP and saved views automatically with our classes, layers etc.. from our template. I don't want the standard names the come out of the box.

I would also like to find out how to have symbols install in one of my classes (ie: Doors-New or Doors-Exist vs. Doors-Main) [Confused][Confused]

With my above post, I mentioned I have been posting questions over the past 4-5 days that I need to get simplified. Here is the list of posts/replies over the past days.

Yes, I already imported into a VW12 template and I'm using now as I did in VW11.5. The only thing I did not do in 11.5 that I would like to start doing in VW12 is use the setup command. When you use the setup command it seems as though the layers are assigned from the LayerMap.G file. When you install a border it gets assigned to Sheet-notes, and I would like to have it assigned to my Border Class. Also When you run Create Standard VP that is also created from the LayerMap.G I believe with all the associations and visibilities that are in the LayerMap.G
