Palettes always on top - dockable 2nd screen palettes

bcd

Question

There is no logic for multiple view panes to ever obscure a palette.

Now, even toggling a palette on or off doesn't reset it to the front of the stack => way too much unnecessary moving & dragging View Panes to find lost palettes.

Aligned with this is the wish to also dock palettes on a 2nd / 3rd screen.

Just passing through here and thought I could contribute…

  • I can dock palettes to each other on a second screen. (Tested with Basic and Tool Sets palettes). - Perhaps you want them to dock to a floating view pane? Or the edge of the screen?
  • When I toggled the Basic palette after I obscured it with a floating view pane, it did bring it to the front.
