markdd
I have just discovered that the focus point distance has either been changed or is now behaving differently to the way it has done for years and years. What used to be a fall off distance between the ground and the focus point perpendicular to the layer plane, has now changed to the distance the light travels between the focus point and the ground. This means that we all have to start remembering our trigenometry classes to get the old functionality back. Is this change intended? Surely not. 1 Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted February 10, 2020 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 10, 2020 I've open an issue in our tracking system and asked the engineer to take a look. If it was a change it was not intentional. Quote Link to comment

Daniel Dickman
Having the same issue here. I thought I messed something up in my file today. Glad to hear it's a known issue and a fix is in the works. Quote Link to comment
