MultipleWays
I'm attempting to write a formula in a worksheet that amends some math with text. In excel, the formula would look like this: =(A1*A2) & "A" VW doesn't seem to like the & "A" part Any help would be appreciated Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
VW Worksheets don't offer the automatic conversion from a number to a string you get in Excel. Based on some very quick testing, you are going to have to store the multiplication in a cell and then use. =Concat(A3,'A') to get the composed result. I have not figured out a way to get Concat to let you do the math as part of the function. And note that VW uses single quotes, not the double quotes used by Excel. Quote Link to comment
MultipleWays
@Pat Stanford That's a bummer it can't happen in a single cell. Thanks for the workaround. Quote Link to comment
DBruhnke
@MultipleWays Another work around in a single cell... Add a Leader or Trailer in the Cell Formatting? Quote Link to comment
