If the Volume is watertight closed by 3D polygons,

you should be able to select all 3DPs and convert to Mesh.

(I think that was CMD+ALT+R)

If the Mesh is healthy,

you should again be able to convert it to Generic Solid if needed.

Another Option would be to convert all 3DPs into Nurbs Surfaces,

select all and use Stitch from 3D Power Pack.

I made all the lines with the 3D polygon tool, then composed them. That made them into 3, 3D polygons and then selected all and converted to mesh. Then converted to solid in out come 1. I admit I am not sure about the difference you described  I know the lines I used had a z entry.

If the angles of incline are all the same draw the base shape and use tapered extrude.

Another quick way to do it is to use multiple extrude.  Draw a line where the top edge is in Top/Plan View (both the base shape and the line need to be on the same plane).  Select it and the base and make a Multiple Extrude with the required height.

If the angles of incline are different extrude the base to the required height.  Go to an isometric view and then use the taper face tool to set the incline of each of the faces.  You can set the base as the axis plane using the Option key.

You can get the volume of the final object with Model/Volumetric Properties...
