dennisondesigner
Hi there, How do i trim multiple lines simultaneously? I am moving back from CAD to Vectorworks. CAD offers a solution in which you can select as many lines as you wish in a rectangular lassoo, click the trim button, and all desired lines are cut to your desired place in one click I know there will be an alternative for VW but I can't seem to find it Thank you in advance, Kate Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
The Trim tool on the Basic palette should do what you want. Read more about it in Help. There is a link to a movie on the Trim tool. Quote Link to comment
dennisondesigner
Hi Mike, The trim tool allows you to trim one line at a time, I'm looking for a way to trim multiple. It seems very time consuming without being able to highlight everything you want to trim in one go Thanks Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
My apologies. I meant the Clip tool. Quote Link to comment

Pat Stanford
The Split Tool does it also. Use the third mode (Line Trim Mode). Draw a line where you want them trimmed. move the mouse to get the arrow to point to the side of the objects you want to keep and click. 2 Quote Link to comment
