VWX USER 1
And why are the backup files even going corrupt in the first place? Engineers - find a way to keep them isolated and have the program recognize when you (the same user) is trying to revert to a backup file Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
Been there, this is a horrible experience if you lose work. If I remember correctly my example was because of a corrupt object on a design layer (perhaps an extrude along path) and it took a lot of work to isolate it. Basically I deleted half the design layers and so on until I isolated the design layer and then did the same with all objects on that design layer. This only works of course if you can consistently reproduce the corruption (with a copy of the of the file). Be sure to contact Vectorworks Support and send them your file. They're pretty good at solving this sort of problem. Edited January 6, 2020 by Christiaan Quote Link to comment
