BORIS.BIM.2020 Posted December 23, 2019 Share Posted December 23, 2019 Hello good, I am trying to export my model drawn in Vectorworks to Revit, since I need other people who do not have Vector to work in Revit since it is their native program, I could not perform, if someone can guide me I would appreciate it Hola buenas, estoy tratando de exportar mi modelo dibujado en Vectorworks a Revit, ya que necesito que otras personas que no tienen Vector trabajen en Revit ya que es su progrma nativo, no he podido realizar, si alguien me puede guiar se lo agradecería Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted December 23, 2019 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted December 23, 2019 If your model was created in Vectorworks Architect, then almost all your objects will automatically obtain IFC data. IFC is a neutral exchange format that will export geometry and quite a bit of data attached to it. Use the command File:Export:Export IFC Project to create an IFC file. This can be imported by your compadres using Revit. There will be quite a bit of clean-up. Quote Link to comment
