Reports - calculating the number of various symbols in a drawing

How can I generate a list of the various symbols I have in a drawing?

just a basic way (I'm sure there are way more complicated ones!):
Tools>Reports>Create Report
List all: change to symbols
tick summarise with same name and OK

I don't have Reports in my Tools pull down menu.   I do have Spotlight>Reports>CreateReport and these selections did the trick.

@StageCrafter, it depends on your Workspace as to where the "Create Report" command is located.  In the Spotlight workspace it's located as you've stated.  In the Architect and Designer workspace, it appears as unearthed has shown.

 

Depending on what product you've purchased, you can go to Tools > Workspaces and change it there.  You can also customize the location of tools, keyboard commands, etc. by modifying your workspace.  Make a copy so you can get back to your original.
