Calculating pipe length in worksheet

I'm designing a structure with key clamps and pipes. I set up a worksheet to calculate different types of key clamps and total length of pipes use in my design. To calculate the different types of key clamps, I convert them to symbols and use =COUNT((S='name of symbol')). How do I go about calculating the length of pipes? The pipes I use are "extrude along path".
