Planar boolean creates additional, unexpected objects

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

I need some help with planar boolean node.

My network should be working like this:

1. Insert any planar shape.

2. According to a bounding box of the inserted shape create network of rectangles.

3. Intersect rectangles according to the inserted shape.

Somehow planar boolean creates a lot of additional, invisible objects that shows up after further operations of the network.

Any hints?

@GRZEGORZ, i don't know the answer. 😞

my "PlanarBoolean node" is an old fix from Marissa and works, but not without the "remove duplicates" Node.

In some condition a "copy node" behind the "Planar Boolean" could help, too. Delete the original output and take the copy output for further operations.

Totally. I'll get in touch in May (too busy before that.. 🙄). Will you be at the Design Summit?
