Classes

I have door in my model. When I enter edit I see that it has door classess all over, but I dont see door class in the clessess menu. ALso I cant add door class, beacuse it says that there is a class with this name, althought I cant see it.

With a lot of plug-in objects and tools in Vectorworks, you will see something like:

<Door Class>

<Window Class>

etc.

 

If you see this, this indicates that those components are tied directly to whatever class the object itself is in.

 

To try to be a little more clear, lets say you place your door object in the class "Interior-Doors"...

When you look in the door settings, you may see things set to <Door Class> --- In this case, that means those parts are tied to "Interior-Doors".
