VW connection to Ecxel via ODBC doesent work

Heyo,

I just tried to connect VW 2019 with a Ecxel document over the ODBC connection to transfer data.

I try to use this Tutorial from @Miguel Barrera

 

The Problem I have is when try to choose the dataconnection in VW, the options are not givin:

 

I create connections in the ODCB Manager tfor every Ecxel Driver who exist:

 

Why isnt this working in VW?

 

I try to run VW with Admin Rights but still no result in the list.

In windows there are multiple copies of odbcad32.exe so you need to find which one is visible to VW. I did a search on the windows folder and found 4 copies. The most relevant however, are located in the C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64 folder, which applies to 64 bit applications, and the other is in the C:\WINDOWS\System32 folder, which applies to 32 bit applications. If it does not appear in the VW dialog, then you need to configure the other odbcad32 administrator.

 

In my system, I found that the one in SysWOW64 works with VW.
