Tanner Shelton
Is there a windows 10 dark mode within Vectorworks with the same look as the Mac counterpart? Or any ways to replicate it? Edited November 14, 2019 by tshelton 3 Quote Link to comment
Administrator JuanP Posted November 14, 2019 Administrator Share Posted November 14, 2019 @tshelton is this what you are looking for?: https://www.cnet.com/how-to/turn-on-the-dark-mode-in-windows-10/ Quote Link to comment
Tanner Shelton
@JuanP Sorry, within Vectorworks. With v2020 if you have dark mode turned on with a Mac, it will change the Vectorworks UI to be a dark mode as well. Is there something equivalent with Vectorworks for Windows? Quote Link to comment

preston bircher designs
I guess I'll add to the BUMP BUMPING here... Are we still in 2023 working without PC users to operate in Dark Mode? Does anyone at VW actually read/know this is a greatly wanted feature? When I Googled "Vectorworks Dark Mode" there are years of requests for the PC version of this lower eye-strain work environment. The notations within the "help" section notate that if your MAC is in Dark Mode, VW will also. Windows-10 has a Dark Mode for both Windows OS and for Default App Mode. Jeff Prince
7 hours ago, Preston said: lower eye-strain work environment It doesn’t reduce eye strain for CAD and BIM type work, it just make you feel like a “creative”. It’s more of a tool for observing screen color rendition correctly for things like video and image editing in a dark room. AutoCAD uses a dark background by default. Leaving it that way and using high contrast colors is a great way to destroy your focus. 1 Quote Link to comment
preston bircher designs
Reading this >>> it looks like the time spent is more valuable in the OSX world than time spent in the Win10/11 world. @rDesign thank you for the Link! Quote Link to comment

Blind_Optimism
I see that it's on the roadmap. Any idea when the implementation would be?! Quote Link to comment
Administrator JuanP Posted August 7, 2023 Administrator Share Posted August 7, 2023 @Blind_Optimism You can expect to see anything in the Scheduled category of the roadmap in the next major release version or near future updates. I don't know, maybe 2024? 😉 1 Quote Link to comment
