Vectorworks, Inc Employee bgoff Posted November 13, 2019 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 13, 2019 if you are referring to using a terrain model, just set multiple pad modifiers at various elevations to modify existing terrain. Or by double clicking the DTM you could use the proposed site model surface button (or existing) and use the sculptor to create the mound. Or if starting from scratch you could create concentric lines representing the elevations required convert to 3D polys and set a z value for each then select all and create a DTM. Hope this helps. Vectorworks, Inc Employee bgoff Posted November 14, 2019 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 14, 2019 Ensure you have smoothing applied in the Terrain Model settings. Also much of that is caused by vertices and how many or not you have. also what is the final applied texture on this? textures will often hide that. feel free to send me the file and I can look through it and help you through what you have. PM it to me if you like. 2 Quote Link to comment
rowbear97
@bgoff wouldn't the rendering settings View/Rendering/OpenGL Options impact the display as well? 1 Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee bgoff Posted November 15, 2019 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 15, 2019 @rowebar97 yes you are correct. check your settings and ensure that your OpenGL is set to high. Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Also, FWIW, applying a texture (like grass) might help the appearance get closer to realistic. Quote Link to comment
