Jagged lines when export to PDF from a Sketchup DWG

Recommended Posts

After importing a DWG into Vectorworks, I have adapted all lineweights only to then export as PDF and have it come out in jagged lines. I have set all possible resolutions to 300dpi on sheet layer, on Publish and on the basic export to PDF setting. I have no clue why this is happening so any help would be great. Thanks

That was just an idea.

I had similar very thick lines in a garden plan DWG.

Obviously originated from a VW landscape architect.

The problematic lines may have come from a referenced

DWG into the VWX (?)

You couldn't read anything when zooming out.

I do no more remember what the problem or solution really was.

I think the Line Weights were fine in Attribute or Class Palette, but

even appeared when "Show Line Weights" OFF (?)

It must have worked either by switching between by Class vs by Object

assignment, by reassigning a new Line Weight or that I found any

strange Scaling anywhere.

But your lines seem to appear OK on Design Layers,

just strange on Sheet Layers and/or PDF output ?

So it is likely a completely different problem ?
