mjm
My lappie, poor ole thing, is trying to die a dignified death as we speak. I have to pick up a new machine in a couple hours. what issues should I be aware of when time to move software & license to new machine? I'm thinking drag n drop from one machine to the next but fear that'll fail. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
VW2015 will not run well (really not at all) under Catalina, so if you are getting a new Mac you will also need to upgrade to VW2019 or 2020. The other option is to get a replacement machine that will still run Yosemite. Quote Link to comment
Jeremy Best
Vectorworks, Inc advise to manually install Vectorworks again any time you get a replacement hard drive or a new computer. While Apple's Migration Assistant is perfect for most things, most of the time, Vectorworks is not suited to this and you may very well experience problems with the software if you migrate it. What's your lappie dying of? 1 Quote Link to comment
