FileMaker can concatenate fields and irrespective of the length of the string nudge adjacent text strings so that the sentence makes sense eg ‘First Name’ ‘Last Name’.
Now, in Vectorworks in the title block we have a field for drawing number and a field for revision number.
Who would find it useful to be able to concatenate these two fields into one drawing number and not have any text overlapping or unnecessary gap between the drawing number and the revision number?
This is a major requirement when delivering drawings using the tortuous BS 1192 during numbering convention.
