KroVex
Hi All Simple Question: Why does the plan turn to 0 ° when running a Marionette? When executing a vector script or Python script this does not happen... We work a lot with rotated Plan's, and this effect isn't so cool. Greetings KroVex Quote Link to comment
Marionette Maven Marissa Farrell Posted October 10, 2019 Marionette Maven Share Posted October 10, 2019 A few years back we were running into an issue with Marionette that resulted in objects not being created correctly when run/updated in a 3D view. Code was added to store the current view, run the network in Top/Plan, and return to the stored view. I am assuming that plan rotation was not taken into account. I'll put a bug in for this 🙂 2 Quote Link to comment
KroVex
Thank you Marissa for the detailed explanation. Then I hope that the priority of the bug is big enough, that it will be fixed soon 😀 Greetings KroVex Quote Link to comment
elepp
We had a similar issue a while ago. We also couldn't find a solution. Quote Link to comment
Tbai
Same problem here...Everytime reset/update a marionette object, the whole plan rotates back to 0 degree although the axes are showing correctly. I know using saved views could solve it easily but it's just a little annoying... Just wondering if this has been solved yet? Thanks Thomas Quote Link to comment
Marionette Maven Marissa Farrell Posted March 20, 2020 Marionette Maven Share Posted March 20, 2020 This issue is still open in our tracking system. I'm adding a note to it with a link to this thread. Quote Link to comment
