Anthony Lee
Hi there I have a few questions regarding the new vision 2020. Can it support Kinnessy motors. How do I go about getting multiple inputs from media server for led walls. Is there a way of pre-visualisation of Kinetic balls Thanks heaps Anthony Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee TomWhiteLight Posted October 10, 2019 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 10, 2019 Hi Anthony, In terms of preplotting kinesys motors you will have to do this by assigning the balls as a dmx transform, giving them a dmx address then you can control an axis (Z) as a 0-255 dmx value through attend or Sacn. You cannot unfortunately connect a kinesys control system, yet.... I am hoping one of my colleagues will respond to your ndi network question. All the best Tom Quote Link to comment

What you want to be looking at are DMX XForms in Vision. The help contains valuable information such as what our profile/personality looks like for controlling various features of DMX XForms in Vision. 5 hours ago, Anthony Lee said: How do I go about getting multiple inputs from media server for led walls. Generally speaking, each input should show up as a unique entry in the Video Input dialog. There are a few ways to go about doing this, but the simplest way of doing this from inside of Vision itself is to simply select a mesh/object and then right clicking in the viewport to get the context menu. There will be an Assign Video Inputs option. This will spawn a dialog with all available UVC Devices (ie; webcams, capture cards) and NDI Streams. Quote Link to comment
