Eric Marin
I just need to know how to make the glass surfaces not to be transparent in elevation viewports. Thanks in advance Quote Link to comment
Guest Wes Gardner
@ Eric Marin...here's a Hidden Line rendering in a viewport which I believe is the default setting for "Create Section Viewport". Is this what you're trying to achieve? Wes Quote Link to comment
Eric Marin
Thanks Wes, this is my elevation viewport. As you can see, the glass has transparency, that is why it shows the stairs, among other things Quote Link to comment
Eric Marin
I have tried some things, but can´t solve the issue Quote Link to comment
Guest Wes Gardner
The two things that come to mind are: no fill in the "Glass" class or the "Glass" class is turned off in your viewport? Quote Link to comment
Eric Marin
I have fill in the Glazing class and the class is on in the viewport. These are curtain walls made as symbols (in order to be inserted in the walls) Maybe that has something to do? I also checked for fill in the curtain wall panel attributes but still having transparency Quote Link to comment
Guest Wes Gardner
@Eric Marin, yep, because you're using curtain walls...it's a know bug...sorry Wes Quote Link to comment
Eric Marin
Ah, ok, Thanks! I will address it in annotations... Quote Link to comment
TomKen
With the curtain wall edit tool select the edit panels button select the panels and right click on it to access the edit panel dialog, make sure the panel has a texture assigned to it. Quote Link to comment
Guest Wes Gardner
@Eric Marin...here's a bit of a temporary solution for your curtain wall...in the Panel Settings, DO NOT set the Panel Fill to be "By Class", just set it to have a solid fill. See the attached screen shot. I've submitted a bug so that we can get the behavior squared away. Thank you for calling this to our attention Wes Quote Link to comment
Eric Marin
Thank you, Wes, your temporary solution works fine! The only thing is that you have to go window by window changing the panel fill... Thanks again! Quote Link to comment
