atari2600 Posted June 22, 2005 Share Posted June 22, 2005 I notice that if I try to copy & paste a viewport into a different drawing, it won't work, as I expect. On the other hand, if I group the viewport prior to copying it. When I paste it into the new file, the viewport pastes along just fine. Now if I can only get the eyedropper to match viewport classes & layers to one another. Quote Link to comment

islandmon Posted June 23, 2005 Share Posted June 23, 2005 Whoa ... I thought that VP was link 'path' driven just like Layer Linking... copy & paste to a different file breaks the Path. How does grouping alter these fundamentals? WGR will not access ViewPorts or allow Linked Layers either.... What a valuable little trick ... I'll give it a try pronto. Quote Link to comment
