Video Screen Tool issue

When I try to insert a new video (projection) screen into a file, using the Video Screen tool, I get an error message saying:

 

"You are attempting to create a model using parameters that are beyond limits. Please adjust LENS settings or SHIFT values."

 

The video screen object will display in the model space, but this error will pop up every time I adjust something in the object info palette.

 

Also, the  pull down menu within the object info palette that allows you to select the projector type won't open to allow me to select anything, and it won't pull down either.

 

Thoughts?

That error message means the tool is being asked to place a projector in a way that is impossible - such as a vertical offset that is more than 90°.  Try a smaller vertical shift amount or a different lens spec. and see if the issue gets corrected.
