Ron Kenyeri
Hello Forum, I need to fillet a .350R arc into a straight line with a 0.050R fillet. It works in autocad, it works in IDEAS-NX10, but VW generates a 0.026R .125 away from where it should be? This is a bug. I have a file that repeats every time. Who should I e-mail my file to? Thanks, Ron Kenyeri Quote Link to comment
Delmer
Ron, pending an official response you might just check that the operation is not outside the parameter of the specification. IE the line when extended past the .350R arc is not greater than a perpendicular distance of .450 off the center. Quote Link to comment
propstuff
For what it's worth, (without knowing the location of the arc WRT the line)I just tried it and it worked OK for me. cheers, Quote Link to comment
Ron Kenyeri
Delmer, Yes, though of that too, got over 3/8" to spar on both sides. I can export the 2D file, and fillet in autocad 14 with no problems. Thanks, Ron Quote Link to comment
ionw
I've tried several permutations, and all seem to fillet and trim without any issue. Quote Link to comment

Delmer
Ron, I think I see what is happening. When filleting an arc to a line there are different fillets that may result depending on which part of the arc you click on. I'll send you a file to hopefully explain. Quote Link to comment
