chstech
Is there any way to 'grey' or make a jpg or pdf a little translucent or invisible? I have a file with the property layout as both. I just need to change how dark it is printing with out taking it to an external photo edit program. It has a funky scale!! Thanks, drew Quote Link to comment
Marietta
You can also use layers colours in the document preferences. make the layer the jpg is on a light grey colour as the layer colour. This should work. I have used this when I want to 'draw' over the image without having the image too strong. Quote Link to comment

I am trying to change a jpg or pdf image, not something that I have drawn. I might try the stipple idea. Drew Quote Link to comment
Delmer
The other thing to consider is to go ahead and adjust it in the photo editing software and bring it back in & resize before you delete the old one. Quote Link to comment
jan15
... or draw a rectangle by clicking on opposite corners of the image, and then delete the old image. When you bring the image back in you can drag-stretch it to those same two corners. Quote Link to comment
Delmer
Might not be exactly what you want, but you can set your pen color to white and place a stipple over the image. With the right stipple settings you can tone down the image a bit. Quote Link to comment
