ojardnas Posted May 13, 2005 Share Posted May 13, 2005 Is there a way to batch convert classes within symbols to other classes? we have a file with 100 or so casework symbols developed over previous years. we now have "standard" sheet setups, with defined classes, layers, etc., which don't necessarily match the older standards...... eg, old casework symbols are comprised of classes named "hardware", "backsplash", etc., and we want to change those names to "case-hdw", "case-bkspl", and assume the new class standards (line weights, color). ? Delmer Posted May 13, 2005 Share Posted May 13, 2005 Organize>Modify Layers & Classes. If you already have the new classes in the file then add them to the right side. Select those on the left you want to convert, select the one on the right you want to conver to, merge. You'll have to go to layers. If you're happy with layers, add them all, click OK.
