Atchison
When I double click on a viewport, e.g. a viewport showing a plan, how can I have the view of the plan be located at the same place as the view of the plan in the viewport? Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
Hi Terry, can you explain a bit more please? when you place a viewport, the location of the viewport is relative to the sheet layer, the center of the sheet layer is a 0,0. Quote Link to comment
Atchison
Hi Jonathon, I have a Design Layer Viewport which appears as below. When I double click on the Viewport I'd like to be taken to that part of the Plan immediately. Instead Quote Link to comment
markdd
You need to have "Display using viewport attributes" checked in the Edit Viewport Dialogue. To see that you should Right-click > Edit on the viewport. Then you should be centered on the same view as in the Viewport. Quote Link to comment
Atchison
I have this box checked but it's still not centered on the same view as in the viewport. Quote Link to comment
markdd
mmm. Slightly stuck then. Are you in Unified View? That might make a difference. Also, check in Unified View Options. You could try toggling the "Center View on Active Layer" option. Doesnt make a difference here but you never know! Mark Quote Link to comment
