Baseline of fonts

LightingNomad

Question

Using VW2018 on Mac 10.14.5, but this has been an issue for me for a long time and I've seen a couple other posts about this but never seen an answer. I use Graphite STD as my font of choice for all my drawings and many of the people I do drawings for also use this font. When working on Windows I  have no problems with the font centering vertically correctly, but on Mac the font "floats" much higher than it is supposed to. My understanding is that the baseline of the font is wonky and for some reason Vectorworks doesn't like this.

I've seen many other custom fonts do this as well and it seems only the most generic default fonts work correctly with Vectorworks on Mac. Has anybody found a solution for this problem? Is there a way to adjust the baseline of the font within Vectorworks?

Thanks in advance.
