reisubrocel
Hi everyone, I'm working on commercial plans for ~80 flats. My vwx file consists in : one layer with viewport on an other vwx document with the plans of the building, and one presentation layer with all the presentation boards. I would like to export these presentation boards in a flattened version, with exploded viewport to get their 2d in lines / polygons to a dwg document. I tried to convert the viewport to segments/polygons but I loose informations during the process, like walls disappearing. Any idea ? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
I wrote an article in AECBytes.com on this way back in 2006. No longer available on the site, but still available on the Internet Archive Wayback Machine. https://web.archive.org/web/20130425125248/http://www.aecbytes.com/tipsandtricks/2006/issue7-vectorworks.html The basic Idea is to scale the viewport to 100% before you Convert to Polygons. I don't know what the best way to do this for multiple viewports on a single sheet would be. Quote Link to comment
AlanW
Would exporting the viewports to a dwg file help?? you can also convert your viewports to polygons or polylines. Edited May 29, 2019 by Alan Woodwell Quote Link to comment
MultipleWays
Export the sheet layer as DWG with "Export Viewports as 2D graphics in Model Space" checked Quote Link to comment
