John Whyte
Is there a way to export all call out text in a viewport into a worksheet, so that it can be taken an loaded into a excel spreadsheet ? Quote Link to comment
Boh
Hey John You can do this by making a database worksheet with selection criteria and record info as per attached screenshots. Also check out this post in similar idea. 2 Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
@Boh Excellent advice. Tips to double check. 1. If you want the callouts in a viewport you must make sure and check the Viewport Annotations check box as highlighted in yellow above. 2. You need to specify which viewports you want to get the callouts from. This can usually be accomplished by specifying layer, but if you have more than one viewport on a layer, you can Name the crop object (bottom of the data pane in the Object Info Palette [OIP]) and then add an extra criteria of Location is "NameOfViewportCropObjectGoesHere". 3. There are other fields in the Callout object that you might want to include also such as the callout number. These are also available in the Callout record. 1 Quote Link to comment
