How do I only update one sheet layer?

Hello,

 

Very new Vectorworks user here, sorry if this question is obvious or has already been asked but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. 

 

Let's say for example that I've drafted a room. I create two different viewports of it - a top view and an isometric view on two different sheet layers. I only want the walls to be visible in the top view but not in the isometric view. How do I do this? Whenever I disable the walls in the isometric view, it disappears from the top view as well and vice versa.

Put the walls in a unique layer or class, and then in Object Info for the viewport, his/show as desired. Any time you make a change to either design layers or Obj Info for a Viewport, you need to update the Viewport to see changes.
