constrained dimension is wrong

Recommended Posts

The value of this constrained dimension is obviously wrong. Can anyone show me how to measure the vertical distance between these 2 members?

I would try an Axis Lock by using "T" key when drawing the Dimension.

It looks like the Dimension is not straight to Z axis but also in Y axis depth oriented.

Change to Screen Plane mode so that the dimension only get's the vertical change and not the depth into the screen.

Thx boomer, but holding the "T" key produced the same results. Screen Plane mode did the trick.

Interesting,

for me "T" always locked reliable.

(after it finally does lock and I don't zoom too much)
