Miscanthus
bear with me...I have used autocadd for 15 years and thought I would experiment with Vectorworks for its plant rendering capability. I am embarassed to say that I cannot even figure out how to erase a line. I cannot even find the word erase in the help index. I have a long way to go to be productive with this software! Can you erase?... and how in the !#@% do you clear a command when you have executed that command? Thanks for the help. Quote Link to comment
propstuff
Do you mean delete? select the object (arrow shaped tool or hit x) and press the delete key. do you mean shorten? with the selection tool grab an end and drag. "Clear a command"?: just choose another tool (I usually revert to the selection tool), or do you mean Undo? If you have a copy of VW, the manual is under Help. VW is different to ACAD. More straightforward, but different. You will need to read at least the start of the manual. Quote Link to comment
Thom
Go here for an excellent comparison list. http://techboard.nemetschek.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=12;t=003264 Secondly, forget all you know about autocad, VW operates on a simplier concept. Autocad will cloud your learning. Quote Link to comment
