Maria13
Hi everyone I am a new Vectoworks user and have been learning the software on my own to apply to my interior design diploma drawings. I am trying to produce a One-D perspective from a 3D drawing. Do you have any advice how to achieve this? The first thought I have is to view my design on a front view, then set a custom perspective to place me further from the drawing and finally flyover by ctrl-click without rotating the view. Does this make sense at all? Many thanks Maria Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Not sure I'm following. But you could get the view you want - either in a sheet layer viewport or on design layers - select the objects Modify > Convert > Convert Copy to Lines. OR You can also set the view you want then use the Render Bitmap tool to give you a bitmap of the drawing. Quote Link to comment
Matt Overton
A section viewport lets you set the perspective and will give a one vanishing point based one centre point of the crop object (as far as I've been able to work out). Quote Link to comment
Maria13
Thanks a lot both. After a few months off work, i revisited my drawings and got the 1D perspective using a section viewport. Easier than i thought. Maria Quote Link to comment
