vassen
Hello everyone I have been trying to figure out if it's possible to change my wall into black or any other color in when going from design layer to sheet layer in vectorworks. But so far i have been able to convert in gray only in my sheet-layer. I was told that i need to re-draw the wall which is quite time comsuming. It's possible to guide me if ever you know how to do the conversion? Find enclosed a vectorwork file with the wall and a PDF was what my client expect to have in hand.... Thanks for your help and guide. Wall.vwx Wall style.pdf Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Tamsin Slatter Posted April 11, 2019 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 11, 2019 If you class the wall, (and/or its components), and set the attributes to be By Class, then you can override the class settings on the Viewport to display whatever colour you like. This is a great way to explore alternatives from a single model. 1 Quote Link to comment

Gerard Jonker
Make sure not to make the class while setting up the wall. The class must be made prior to opening the wall settings dialog and the class must be set to "Use at creation", else it won't work. Chnaging this later won't help. I ran into this in VW 2018 and VW 2019. 1 Quote Link to comment
