sicily80
Hi! We just updated to 11.5 and are experiencing visual weirdness with one of our computers where the drawing screen blinks randomly. It's very annoying. Anybody else experiencing this and is there a fix? Thanks! sicily80 Quote Link to comment
Kevin
What type of computer, what operating system, video card, etc. Quote Link to comment
tgm
I have the same problem here. I have posted it before and have not got an answer other than... 'check your video card and driver'. We have the latest drivers for our new cards and we still get the 'blinking screen' while drawing, a delay and blink when trying to delete an item etc. We are running WinXP and we had the problems on 11.0.1 prior to upgrading to 11.5. The blinking only occurs in VW and none of our other programs which leads me to believe it's a VW bug. Tom in PA Quote Link to comment
Guest
Can you please list your video card and driver version? Quote Link to comment
tgm
I am currently using NVIDIA Quadro FX 500/600PCI with driver version 6.5.7.3. We checked with NNA prior to installing this card to make sure there were no compatability problems. Tom in PA Quote Link to comment

sicily80
Let me know if that's enough information. I'm not quite sure where to look for driver version?? Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
This is not just a VW issue - I downloaded a utility program from the web and had the blinking problem occur. I restarted and performed maintenances on the computer and the problem has not reoccurred. There is some advice on 'Panther' maintenance at this address which may be useful: http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/mac/2003/11/21/maintenance.html Quote Link to comment

sicily80
Yeah, we've tried running disk utility to repair permissions already and re-installing the update. Is there anything else we can try? Quote Link to comment
