minotto
Here is a plan view of a window at the top right (elevation 2' and a sliding glass door at the bottom left (elevation 0). I've set the parameters to be identical as far as jamb, sash etc.... Is there a way to have the door show up like the window? I can't seem to find the right parameter. Jim Smith
@minotto Did you get this solved? If not perhaps this is a Class issue, I know my doors are often auto classed into the Sills Class. Quote Link to comment
zoomer
I see similar from my Revit import Doors, where Doors use just a Symbol for all Geometry, where these Symbols have no 2D part. So I see a single line at best - when selected. Quote Link to comment
Jim Smith
@zoomer So can you edit the symbol to add a 2D element after import? Quote Link to comment
zoomer
Yes, I could let create VW the new top and side views depending on scale. I just don’t really need it. But it is a bit distracting when you see just a gap in your Walls in Top Plan View.. Quote Link to comment
zoomer
But I think Minottos problem is more just a visibility issue with Classes, as yo said. Quote Link to comment
AlanW
@minottoHi, This issue can arise if something is way off internal origin of the program. Turn on all classes and do a select all and zoom extents. Display your internal origin. If you have things way off in the distance delete them if you know what they are untill you get Z extents with just your drawing. See if this helps. Quote Link to comment
minotto
It turned out to be a visibility issue with the Sills Class. Thanks for everyone's input. 1 Quote Link to comment
