Soft Goods defaults

Hello,

 

This probably applies to all plug-in objects.  I'm looking to reset the default object properties for a plug-in object.

Specifically, is there a way to change the soft goods tool so that it defaults to Pipe and Drape with a specific set of options and text fields?  Right now, the tool defaults to Curtain object which I use much less.  Unfortunately, this is my template file, so starting a new drawing isn't an option.

Go to Tools menu, Plug-ins submenu, Plug-in Manager command. You can drill down and set your preferred defaults:

I tried this, and it doesn't seem to work.  When I exit the plug-in manager and try the tool again, it still reverts back to curtain.

I am using 2019 SP3 if that makes any difference.

@Keylight The suggestion @Robert Anderson will work for new documents.

To fix your template file activate the Soft Goods tool and then in the modebar click the wrench icon.

This will open up the properties dialog where you can set the default options.

Click OK and now the tool will place objects with these defaults.

 

This settings button should be available for most tools.
