GioPet
Hi all, I am looking into setting VP visibilities through a script - as an example, I'd like to begin with turning off wall components in a viewport. Has anyone had experience with anything similar? In the Function Reference I could only find functions related to viewport overriders, but not to other visibility settings. any suggestion on how to tackle this? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
If you are in VW2019 you can do it by using the Detail Level functions, but you will need to make sure the detail levels of your wall styles are set correctly. SetObjectVariableInt(Handle_to_VP, 1047, 0) will be low detail and should hide the components. Not tested just read from the VS Appendix. Quote Link to comment
twk
If you're looking for viewport class visibilities, they're under the 'Group' category in the DevWiki. http://developer.vectorworks.net/index.php/Category:VS_Function_Reference:Objects_-_Groups They have viewport layer visibility getters and setters there as well.
