Kevin McAllister
From today's press release about SP3 and the LiveSync plug-in from Lumion - "The LiveSync plug-in is developed by Lumion and is the first partner plug-in to use a new Vectorworks Graphics Sync (VGS) API, created by Vectorworks. The VGS API provides live access to the Vectorworks 3D scene and enables third parties to connect Vectorworks to any 3D visualization engine imaginable." @Jim Wilson is there any more information about the VGS API and how it might benefit us? Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted March 20, 2019 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 20, 2019 VGS is the tech that will let us send anything the drawing area (so, anything the VGM is doing) to other applications, engines and services in an intelligent manner, as opposed to previous "dumb" single shot formats like File > Export and Send to Cinema4D etc. It's a huge part of why we've been spending so much time upgrading and moving elements to the VGM. 2 Quote Link to comment
John Meunier
Hmm, This technology sounds like a direct VR link could be in the future? Sending the workspace to a headset, even allowing basic editing or texturing in VR. Quote Link to comment

The research team has the full pantheon of headgear devices to experiment with and they have been. Quote Link to comment
Gaspar Potocnik
Since it’s developed by Vectorworks why wasn’t vision the first app to include it? Any chance this will happen in the future? 1 Quote Link to comment
