Hans-Olav
I remember the discussion from time to time about spots and dirt in ceilings but can't remember any solutions or how to minimise it. is it a specific setting or something to do with the lighting? Quote Link to comment
RussU
While I'm not an expoert in RW, this looks like a global illumination issue, and a light bounce issue. Undersampling secondary bounces. First thing to check is that there's no "light leaks" in the model, and the geometry all touches nicely, but then up your levels for "Indirect Lighting" and "Environment Lighting". Raising the Bounces / Max Reflections might help too. Can you post a screen grab of your current RW options? Quote Link to comment

Phil hunt
Hans try turning of sky interior you seem to be picking up some sky colours in your render Quote Link to comment
Phil hunt
Finally didn't know you could have 16 bounces turn it down to 8 1 Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted March 14, 2019 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 14, 2019 Note how his reflections are set to 6, this is WAY higher than I have recommended in the past since it doesnt affect the reflectivity appearance all that much beyond 3. Its looking more and more that this option is also controlling how many times light is allowed to reflect, which is supposed to be also controlled by indirect bounces, or at least thats what I had thought. I'm going to be confirming and filing for separate control of this for more efficient renderings. 3 Quote Link to comment

It would be really helpful to get some clarification from the engineers about this.... 3 Quote Link to comment
