Steve Clarkson
Wondering if anyone can explain this.... I've made changes that are reflected in both Wireframe and OpenGL (in the pictured case the camera is facing front and lowered to rest on the floor) Then when I render (Interior Fast) it reverts to the previous state (Not on the floor, and facing backwards). This is still after occurring after a full save of the file - I suspected that the render might use the saved state, but it seems not. It seems to always require a restart of the program. Any tricks to help with this? Quote Link to comment
markdd
If you are rendering on a design layer, then there is an annoying "bug" whereby the program seems to "cache" the last remembered render and just repeat it over and over. The only way to solve this that I know of is to re-start the program. I am sure a wiser contributor on the forum could devise a script that would clear the render cache, but it would be much better if the problem was just solved once and for all. Maybe in an upcoming service pack? 1 Quote Link to comment
Steve Clarkson
Thanks again Mark. And to further make this a great day, I just saved and closed the project, re-opened it, re-activiated the camera for this view, hit Interiour Fast render, and got a totally black render. Some days things are smooth other days not. Quote Link to comment
David S
@markdd I've had that. I'm glad you highlighted it. I thought I was losing my mind. Quote Link to comment
