Renders that don't reflect current state?

Recommended Posts

Wondering if anyone can explain this....

I've made changes that are reflected in both Wireframe and OpenGL (in the pictured case the camera is facing front and lowered to rest on the floor)

Then when I render (Interior Fast) it reverts to the previous state (Not on the floor, and facing backwards).

This is still after occurring after a full save of the file - I suspected that the render might use the saved state, but it seems not.

It seems to always require a restart of the program.

Any tricks to help with this?

If you are rendering on a design layer, then there is an annoying "bug" whereby the program seems to "cache" the last remembered render and just repeat it over and over. The only way to solve this that I know of is to re-start the program.

I am sure a wiser contributor on the forum could devise a script that would clear the render cache, but it would be much better if the problem was just solved once and for all.

Maybe in an upcoming service pack?
