Hey Jim. I ran into the problem using the iMac Pro; worked fine on the 2015 MacBook Pro, same system and software versions. I'll restart the iMac Pro and try again..

Rebooted the iMac Pro, nothing else running, same issue. Strange because I'm sure I recently placed table and chairs in a conference center project I'm working on.

I inserted a VW preconfigured furniture layout after (Floor Layout-Living Room 01) into an existing project, the wheel appeared for a second or two during download, afterwards no issues.  Repeated the process with a new file and no issues. No issues with 3d mouse or tablet.  Open GL, for me, had studdering issues on high settings, low and medium were very tolerable. Please note my hardware configuration and up to date software below in my signature.

I have new information related to this issue:

Please try this for me if you are still experiencing this after a reset: Take your object info palette and undock it so its floating free, then try inserting the table and chairs again. Tell me if it locks up, if it doesnt, dock the OIP and insert another. If it STILL happens, then this should be corrected by 2019 SP3.

Magic! Working fine now. Thanks Jim!
