Richie
Hi, Sorry I'm a little new to the system but I am struggling with my hoist labels. I've imported an Autocad and have added trusses, lights etc and everything is working fine, my only issue is the hoist labels are huge when I add a hoist and I just can seem to find a way to reduce the size. The hoist icon is the correct size... I've tried adding a new layer and changing the scale but am still struggling. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks Rich Quote Link to comment
markdd
I suspect that your layer scale is set to something like 1:1000. Hoist labels are better suited to scales of 1:25 or 1:50. You should probably select a scale aligned to the intended published scale. Quote Link to comment
Sam Jones
You can try clicking on the "Set Hoist Data Display" button near the bottom of the OIP and selecting a smaller font. It would be best to do as Markdd suggests and using viewports and sheet layers to control the scale of your print outs. This will solve/prevent any number of other problems. Quote Link to comment
Richie
Thanks guys. it was an issue with the layer scale when I imported the Autocad, won't make that mistake again 🙂 Quote Link to comment
